About Chuck Ewart
Chuck Ewart is President of The Ewart Group; a company dedicated to helping businesses and organizations meet the needs of their customers. He has been involved in economic development and organization management in South and North Carolina since 1979. Ewart has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Spartanburg, Conway, and Darlington Chambers of Commerce in South Carolina, and Chambers of Commerce in Hickory and Goldsboro, North Carolina.
In 1988, Chuck Ewart was named the Chamber Executive of the Year in North Carolina.
In 1991, Ewart served as President of the North Carolina Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. It was also in 1991 that he received the highest designation awarded by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives association.
Chuck Ewart is a 1971 graduate of Erskine College in Due West, SC, and he has served his alma mater on the Board of Trustees as a past Chairman of the Board of Counselors. Ewart served as Chairman of the Academy for Organization Management at Notre Dame and is a past Chairman of the Board of Regents for the multi-year Institute for Organization Management program at the University of Georgia. Chuck Ewart has served two terms as a member of the National Board of Trustees of the Institutes for Organization Management.
Chuck Ewart has been a faculty member of the Institute for Organization Management through the United States Chamber of Commerce since 1991. He currently teaches at the University of Georgia, University of Wisconsin, Loyola-Marymount University, Villanova University, and the University of Arizona. Ewart is consistently one of the top rated instructors for the Institute program in the United States. He has taught and mentored over 3000 chamber and association executives throughout the Country.
Chuck Ewart is highly sought after as a speaker, strategic planner, meeting facilitator, workshop & seminar presenter, and CEO search consultant. Ewart has addressed more than 2000 groups in 39 states and several foreign countries over the past 30 years.
